I'm a native Czech speaker. I've been working as a freelance English - Czech translator since 2005, including cooperation with various customers. I have a university degree (Master of Arts) and a state exam from the English language (CEFR B2 level).
My university education in humanities guarantees an excellent work with regard to the language and research, while my employee experience (which includes international cooperation on corporate level) and freelance experience with (not only) technical matters provides a solid know-how background.

Rates and volumes
My rates vary upon specific conditions of each translation (subject matter, volume, urgency, output format etc.). I always wish to reach mutual agreement with the customer. If requested, I can also mediate a revision of the final translation by a Czech language expert for an unchanged rate.
On average, I'm able to translate approx. 2.200 words in top-notch quality per a day. In a short time "burst" situation up to 3.500 words. The volume also depends on subject matter.
Smaller tasks are fine with me (minimum rate per a job is 10 EUR or 15 USD, or half the price for mini-texts below ten words).
Reachability
I'm available on phone and e-mail throughout every day 7 am - 9 pm BST, or as agreed in advance.

Office 2003, Wordfast, OmegaT, Adobe Acrobat (Pro), Paint Shop Pro and others.
As an IT expert, I'm ready to adapt quickly to any specific CAT or other tool if required for the collaboration.
